The blazing rays of the sun on a Saturday afternoon a few weeks back has made us victorious in getting the photoshoot session done by just once!

Shots were taken by Kate, model was Ilana's mom who knows how it goes.

Yes this is the group I was utterubbishing about the other day - I told you at the last part we really did well but for research and the commitment of being responsible and all...

Then continuing to the art direction, my part, which was about the magazine layout for OYSTER, an Australian based magazine that coverages world fashion:

 

This last image is exactly the feel we would like to bring, with a slight saturated old-feel and framed Polaroid.

Thus, I framed all chosen images (which is now still using the mock up *sighs*) to be like this...

 

 

Then Dutchesses Kate and Ilana decided it looks fugly. It does with the layout they previously chose (since again I didn't have the liberty to talk in the colony) and Kate had another idea, to do something like this:

Heck I don't know when we would have numerous weeds sprouting out of the ground but never really producing something pretty?

So using the raw images I made a mock up to see which layout is best, then change the frame to be exactly like the example from Oyster (not the polaroid)...

*  Trying to put the GRID lesson into action... "Diagonal Grid" Layout *

 Personal preference: The second would be more suitable for Oyster itself. A new kind of layout they never use and still simple, the first is already out of the picture for the magazine.

But then again, it's all up to the Dutchesses of the colony.

AND STILL, NEEDING THE EXACT DIMENSIONS AND THE AIRBRUSHED IMAGES.
