Blues.

The same hue to my moo(d), I'm in the blues. The new batch for this year's college intake is grotesquely depressing; I will live without a vibrant original CMYK/RGB world God created but only through the 256 million colors my laptop has (or the TV). There is no one to look at. Crush at. AT ALL. Maybe a girl.

"...Not in a sexual way!" -from The Other Side of the Story, Marian Keyes

Please do not blame me, ever, for this. Blame it that Masaki Okada (there is if I ever get a chance to see again), Shirota Yuu, Kim Sang Bum, Kim Ki Bum, Kim Jae Joong, Mizushima Hiro, to (remarkably sparklingly) Taylor Lautner, Oliver James, Gaspard Ulliel, Luke Worrall to not come here. Or their lookalikes.

Every sickness I have been in must have a cure. So this time,
my remedies are as follows:

via Pixie Market

Such a coincidence with the word 'stalker'! Instead of me being the fashion concious and oh-so-fashion-freak just like the fashion faculty briefing today given, a lecturer saying that we even have to know by just the silhouettes of them then we're considered gods. Goddess. Well, what-EVER. I'm sorry but I have a life outside fashion, it's not my 24/7. It's only probably 1/3 of me. Anyhow, I've gotta stop this paragraph. Me contemplating on my studies and career is such a big topic and would be a cynical post. Cheers to that later.

Their designs however, are taken from mostly indie designers and I do love their innovation (indie designers do best!) and the second from the left, that leggings are gorgeous.

But then I wonder, when will the leggings trend end? It started when I was in 10th grade I suppose.

Shopping remedy? But well, I'm looking for shoes which are the top priority, however these days I simply cannot find THE shoes I want; they're all the most excellent diet products for my wallet and I'm not planning to buy it for my wallet anytime soon until I get my own salary.
Oh well, I'm not in shopping mood anyhow.

Little Thing magazine is seriously my actual favorite from all the rest, as I re-flipp
ed through the editions I have in hand and comparing it with the others, they bring out indie and old little notes; vintage, and it's almost like Australia's Frankie. It's something like an indie mag however still covers designers as well as adding arts and crafts and beautiful graphics I adore; not straightforward and paste all those designers that are a bore but a romanticist of little things in life.

Surprise surprise, it's not Japanese, nor it's conducted in English, but in Chinese. I'm a fan since the first edition which I DIDN'T GET BECAUSE I WAS TOO LATE and now I'm going to try to write a letter confessing my love to them, and hopefully they would send me copies or at least the first and the fourth edition, the editions I missed or the bookstore here didn't have a shipment of it. The latest here, July, was seen on Fifi Lapin's newsletter, I think because she made it again inside.

I really really really really really really really really really really really really really love the whimsical dreamy blue hues and contrasting patterns to the soft bleached tie-dye kind of details with pants prints that looks like a mermaid's fin. And the back side is just as pretty, GOD I HAVE TO GET THIS EDITION IT'S THEIR BIRTHDAY EDITION AND IT SHOULD BE THE BEST EDITION OF THE YEAR, usually.

Sadly, like any other Asian magazines I have, I cannot understand it at all, but it's only for the pleasures of my eye. :)

And then some more.
I never could find a brilliant background like this so far in Singapore; from Cherry (online) Magazine.

Beru Bretto's cheeky children sweet as a cherry on top of a cake digital illustrations; was clicking around and I landed on her blog. I tend to adore these kind but amazingly I wasn't really drawn into, but her characters are the ones that would make you squirm due to cuteness.

But then my ultimate remedy is a whole crate of soju.

Not exactly the alcoholic drink, but MySoju of the WWW that databases all the Asian dramas and YES I WAS CORRECT DREAM IS NOW UP and I'm watching it! I simply cannot wait and will not sleep until I spot my hubby go for Dam-bi. =x

Happiness...

is coming.

*taken from LASALLE alumni's upcoming performance title*

Yes, yes, my happiness somewhat is coming. Yesterday two things made my day. Well, one and a half. Firstly it was the shoes that I ordered came with the postman, right in front of my door when I was on my way home. I was ecstatic, like finally! I got my (hopefully) awesome new pair of shoes!

But it was quite a disappointment that the shop didn't copy exactly the model I gave... Now it kinda sucky looking, plus they have measured my ankle size and in the model the top part wasn't this tight... It's too small I can't even zip up smoothly - needs extra strength really, thank God it was real leather (does that help with extra tugging strength for not spoiling).

*supposedly...*

*but it turned out like this...gold some more...:(*

Should it have a negative, it also has a good side which is comfortable. I dunno why, the sole's thin and all and it's 9cm heel but I feel like walking in the clouds... And I could possibly not zip it to have another effect... :)

Noontime, I was heading back to school when that person happened to just arrive, facing towards the entrance, wearing a pair of baggy jeans with tan suede boots and a reggae colored armband and a cap. Seeing on the floor, his desktop computer and a dusty keyboard caught my eye. From afar, I thought it would be the moving man, the one from pick-ups that help with people who moved, looking from the way he dressed, especially that boots he was wearing. It was when I passed, he shouted in Japanese and I peered back (drat he's not the ugly kinda of type but actually the cute kind oh mother of Mary my heart palpitates I don't wanna leave just yet) to see this guy. I casually left and saw a girl taking out all the stuff out from the taxi (maybe his sister... maybe his girlfriend...!) but they seriously do not look alike.

He was speaking like the actor Masaki Okada.

I think my heart skipped a beat at the point I was passing him.

I thought he was the moving man. But then he wasn't the hideous all-pierced tattooed kind of Japanese, he was the nicer (yeah, Okada's the figure).

Did I tell you I was dreaming that Okada would be coming here for school, to get out of the Tokyo hypness and learn like a normal student, knowing that probably no one would recognize him?

From that hour on, right after I came back from school (goodie bag packing) I searched every floor where there might be 'clues' of where they're at. It now sums up it's either on the 5th of 6th. I've instigated stalking plans and this is my only sole entertainment in Singapore I'm looking forward to, live, not on screens. And I've also got an 'agent' on the 5th floor in which I haven't inquired to about anyone moving in.

THANK GOD MY FLAT HAS ONLY 6 FLOORS. YIPPEEEEEE~

My nephew, baby T has grown outrageously! Compared to the last time I saw him, he's now all grown up with bigger marbly eyes and super smooth milky skin, also a weird hair pattern...

Cuteness! Then the happiest time of my family, or my Singaporean family, is eating! So I tempted him with the banana walnut muffin from Delicious Muffins in Sunshine Plaza which are the gods of muffin making here.

*ohhhh it looks soooo good, I want but I can't eat it...>,<*

*take a closer look at his watering mouth... =P*

I'm a very bad auntie for him. But then again, the whole family (except baby T's dad and mom I guess) loves to eat. It gives happiness and bliss when good taste enlighten our taste buds. And like today, I was invited to eat at PS: Cafe at Dempsey Rd., which serves western cuisine and of course, a wide range of tempting desserts to die for. The main courses were just right in taste and in the tummy, eating a whole but didn't feel heavy: Caesar Salad mixed with bits of bacon and lots of crunchy croutons which were absolutely smashing, then a chicken dish that was cooked like pizza (as in the topping) and I didn't get to try the , except this tall dark double chocolate BLACKOUT cake (the second from the right).

SEE HOW TALL IT IS? DON'T ASK ME. Served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce which was a good combination since the cake was heated and I would puke if I ate too much chocolate. Of course, it was shared into 4 slices. Currently I am sick of any kind of chocolate, meaning I won't be eating my chocolate muffin anytime soon...

Baby T today was not in a good mood. He was famous for his quietness and his friendly approach to strangers; he's not scared of a lot of people in one place; today was very different.

I was thinking he knew the truth about the dalai lama or guru my cousin invited for lunch to (an undisclosed comment for me) and he was upset he was carried by him, then I think I saw a little moment - a hint, a second of him making a (totally hilarious) ugly face after throwing his face to the opposite side of the guru's face; I found it very entertaining, with his versatile hands of picking up the angpao from the guru's pocket. Who would have guessed? We all didn't see it. Does he have what it takes to join the Master Junior, a show which showcases youth talents in magic?

*sleeping soundly in his mom's arms in the cafe*

Afternoon came and my roommate suggested that we visited IKEA. We departed about 3PM, went to both floors and scanning almost everything in our way it took 4 hours before we finally decided to eat dinner in their restaurant.

While I was at the megastore, I thought of calling two friends, one was Ika which was the IKEA card holder which we could have gotten a discount, the other was Putra, because I remembered him as an IKEA fan. So I thought, why not join for dinner for an invitation? But then again, my credit's running out like a big mama running to catch a culprit. Get the gist?

And how interesting we DID cross paths in the RESTAURANT when I came along to where my other friend was waiting and my friend pointed out 'is that your friend' I'm like 'where I don't see' but then after a while this bulky figure I recognize was in front of me. I hit him with my bag so he would turn but he DIDN'T. I was thinking, should I hit even harder? Was this the place those chicken wings are stored? Then I hit the second time where he FINALLY wanted to scold but stopped to see it was me...

Yeah, how interesting that could be. The person to call was also going to eat dinner at the same place with his friends. So we left it at that state.

For dinner, CHICKEN WINGS! That was enough for my dinner; I was sick of the smell of the restaurant which reminds me of airplane food. Ugh.

It had been a great time, 'wasting time' while I have all the time in the world, before I would be inside a little world where 24 hours is not enough at all.

At 8PM we then left to return our snuggly - NOT - home.

Happiness... is when you get something you have dreamt and plan and work hard for it to earn it; is when a little butterfly releases in your stomach; is when I stuff my face with delectable cooking from anywhere I go. :)

Humiliation.

Cool, cool, and so NOT cool.
Puh-leeeeeeease, can THIS get any cheesier than yellow cheese? The leaflet given inside goodie bags I've stuffed in today (more than 1000!) advertising the new cafe situated in the campus, with wannabe kind of writing, trying to 'fit in' but then, I think they failed.
We as students of an arts college, are ever so humiliated, critizing every inch of the sinless A6 paper.
As the solution to this flyer is, PLEASE DELETE THE CRAP AND GET TO THE POINT. Just typing the events in dotted format (it's still template!) then intrique us by another statement below then the name of the cafe, it'll be good enough. Not this buncha groupie wannabe with Times New Roman engulfing the paper.

Three's A Charm, I'm Sure

Yesterday, was a BLAST.

*process of taping the bicycle's shadow...*

*photos courtesy of Delicia and Jolyn*

It's the best way to wrap things up for i.drawws, firstly a celebration cake courtesy of Syaheerah Aleem bringing a Mrs. Fields brownie cake (sugar rush even before a bite but even more high after, it's too sweet, sorry not that tempting this time, Royce Nama's are) then we had to pack up all the props that were sent to LASALLE, then a confidential plan of surprising Dahlia, a lecturer and one of the in charge of this exhibition at her house for her pre-birthday party, after dropping the school's belongings and came back hours later with the pick-up truck or here as they call it lorry? (Oh there's no red grammar error underlines appearing so it mean it's correct) We headed on first to Sawn's place, one out of three lecturer's houses, at Upper Bukit Timah.

The ride took one hour plus most probably, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand we were all situated at the pick-up with super butt cramp.

Ride of a lifetime! Whenelse I would ride this; never will I ride back home in Indo my mom would kill me somewhat.

Midnight open house to all students... Sawn's house was absolutely one-of-a-kind, it's the place I would love to live in even though it's an HDB flat where usually it's a total bore. Unpaved, just pure grey floor, handmade wooden drawers out of wine wooden crates, and the entrance with wood panels that reminds me of Japan.
Next was Stella's, which was interesting with more than 10 birdcages (with little birds already asleep of course) and ah-dorable doggie...The ride took another half an hour with more space but still had cramps all the way to Bedok.
Now, the last was Dahlia's which turned out to be a landed house and we were invited to step inside, which turns out to be a change of plan (assuming due to the time, it was about 1AM in the morning and asking her to go out to get something would be the weirdest request at 1AM in the morning) and we all hid at her backyard, waiting for her to come...

The food, had to say, was a thrill. Not because it was a good home meal after a few days of pre-ordered meals brought to us by the Arts House, but it seriously has FLAVOR. Here, in Singapore, food has not much of a flavor, it's not spicy it's not too salty it's quite plain, really, unless it's a reknown spot. The fried chicken, oooooohhh, crispy and salty but a tang of spiciness was yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy. The chocolate birthday cake, OHHHHHH DEARRRRR I could cancel my healthy diet plan any time. The top of the cake had shocolate powder, then the middle part is filled with chocolate custard which is HEAVENLY, and the base of crushed biscuits which perfects it.

I WANT THIS CAKE FOR MY BIRTHDAY THEN! :)

Last year was in Miss Clarity (in which I haven't use the coupon) with their super-fiber dietic chocolate cake (somehow who ate it would end up having tummy ache and meet the loo) and this time I won't celebrate; hassle, lazy, and I'm surely going to be busy.

At Dahlia's party her cousin or her friend could read Tarot cards. I don't recall that I wrote about wanting to be 'read' this year in any kind of way, thanks to a magazine which posted people who were (what's the word? F!)... and it came true! One of them was that she would have a Korean boyfriend. And in the next month she actually did! And before she heard that news she didn't even know the guy! (Truly envious.) All those statements in the magazine made me want to know my future somehow.

As I picked the card, it was coins, without any concrete question. The second attempt I kind of did, and it was coins again. Same for the second, and the THIRD. I was shocked to the outcome, what's the ratio? How many coins cards are there in a deck anyways? If the percentage was big then it's not a queer thing the card recidivates. But it triggered my attention to this set and it was interesting, she has good insight and knew a lot - not for me but my friend Dee.

The outcome was that there was something I want, but it's not so clear, and it would not happen... Then Kim Sang Bum and I won't happen? Or with Kim Ki Bum? T__T

oooh yeah, get real.

Clazziquai - three charmer electronica band is back with their new song, 'Love Again'! Gaga-ing over Alex's new style... he looks fineeeeeeeeeeeeee and dandy. Horan's new hairstyle looks so ultrachic for her. IDK DJ Clazzi can kinda dance. With models and a setting of glitz and glamour, the track's not bad, catchy but not the kind I like - the ones that are more moody and jazzy are the best. Not bad for their photoshoot outfits though looks sleek.

And to wrap up today's post, check out 2PM and 2AM's English attempt GAWD I so love JoKwon of 2AM speaking something uncomprehensible but you can get a catch of him saying "whut derr fakq?" which is my bloggie! XOXO to you!

14. Korea Photo : Blogs which have photos of Korea.
15. Korea info : genaral info about Korea.

The ones on bold are the ones that I would write about.
Mental note: K-pop fest in Singapore last year (BBoys and traditional dance), K-pop concert, ramyun, manhwas, feetmanseoul, how I learn hangeul from variety shows, and surely don't ask about the entertainment part. Tsk tsk.

Next email was HanCinema newsletter (can this day be any supportive towards the contest above?) and I skimmed through the headlines and clicked what interests me. One of them was Son Dam-bi my favorite dance singer if only her songs were nice to hear (I don't like all her songs except 'Crazy' but she's a goergeous goddess indeed and I'm watching her on Family Outing!) is in the crew of a new drama from SBS, Dream.

The next part was the one that triggers. My husband plays in it! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Bum bum bum bum bum attack~
It airs next week on Monday... OH DEAR YOU SUBBERS AND MYSOJU PLEASE UPLOAD IT FAST!
A bit on reading the articles related to the drama above, it turns out that it's a Japan-Korean joint production, about ambition and all that and of course (which drama doesn't have this single bit of scene) love.
Bummie himself will play a character around his age who has nifty hands for pickpocketing. WOW...

can you steal my heart pretty please? X)

As I saw the posters for it there are 6 main characters in total. I think it should be interesting and yay Kim Bum's love interest or at least that's what I saw in the trailer is that he was curi-curi pandang (aka taking secretive glances) where Dambi was dancing. Their faces match! Cute and pretty I support I don't ca-a-a-a-a-re if he has a smooching scene since I know it'll be just a wee bit. XD

He looks ultra fiiiiiiiiiiine in the press conference. He looks younger even! Drat as I'm getting old... and I don't look like my age either. >,>

But not SOHEE. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

So hurry it should be up on Youtube I saw the trailer in HanCinema.

Second day of i.drawws! Not exactly doing much but I added a CSI zone where people SHOULD act like the detectives or policies and GET CLOSE TO IT AND JUST STEP OVER it and not just stand behind the projector. If museums restrict visitors to be as close as 5cm to a Michelangelo painting, then at our place you can TOUCH it. Yes, you can touch feel smell see hear, activate all senses and turn on all muscle joints and follow the Obladi/Oblada video! :D

In this exhibition, I somewhat loved the sepia effect to the objects around, as it is also has a vintage rustic feel as a whole; color as I tried doesn't see to work well here. B/W too. More shots Ive gotten today and yesterday. The one with the newspaper and the zoomed view of the broken tiles are to be noted. :)

*the crime scene outline part I was telling above*

*my group mate Dee, asking her to stand there for me to get the words on her face but it wasn't the perfect shot*

The picture of the cans is stunning to me, with a unique angle and a sharp clean shot. I like it with the white contrasting dashes as well.

Tomorrow would be the final day! Dahlia and Sawn, lecturers in charge asks us to come from 1PM. That is why, right now I'm having my midnight show. More Family Outing and Idols... XD

On Episode 47 with Son Dambi...

Dambi tried to cheer, but even before the game starts, Clumsy Chunhee has fallen down.
HOW I WILL MISS HIM SO MUCH AS HE'S NOT IN F.O. ANYMORE... TT__TT
He's the person that always cracks me up, 100% sure and will. Especially his dance, his face was hilarious. Should be face of the day.
Jaesuk falls, and his pale belly was driven up, and in front of superstar Dambi... he was uber embarrased...
By the way - Dambi's wearing Cheer you up! Shirt from Giordano! The more the want of wanting to buy it and be a Korean wannabe since the ad was with Jang Dong Gun and Yoo Jaesuk himself, and then a LOT of stars and street people wearing. Aaaahhhh, me and my Korean wannabe world.

Then my now boyfriend Kim Ki Bum aka Almighty Key in Star Golden Bell with 2AM, so AHDORABLE with his little victory grin and kind of bring upwards his shoulders, talking about "who would you want to call nuna (older sister) here?" and he replied "Jung Joori-nuna...(while glancing at her)" aka the 'Idol Killer'. I'm not sure why but when I watch it I do get the hint.

Then... (drumrrrrooolllll) the pouty face that made my day.

OAIJFPOAFJLA:SKDJOPQIU(*#%(@#*YPOISH*#(HISALHQ(W*H(#*H$(*H(*#H()*HF)(#@*HSFHLA#ALJFOQIJlkahiwhaiwhaiwhoiawhiahw
*keyboard mash*

Too cuuuuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee is he suitable for me (read: my face?) He's going to be 18, I'm going to be 17. Mmmmppfffttthhhhh, he's super skinny as well and not capable of carrying me. That is why he's just my boyfriend, while 180cm tall Bum is my 5th hubby for now. We'll see Key, if you grow up and will be the 6th. X)

Well, I'm now signing off to dream, weaving all the topics together to one big dream: to win, to be successful, to dream off to my lala land!

Lucky?

On my way to The Arts House for continuing the exhibition of i.drawws, a man (Indian I think) suddenly said, "You hefarafifes."
"I'm sorry?" I said, closing in. This guy surely had a teeny tiny voice.
"You," he repeated and fingers kind of making a circle, "have a lucky face."
"... Uh, thanks...?" I replied.
He again, made another so-called prophecy of my face. "You have a lucky face. In the next two months you are going to be very lucky..." he said something more about my parents I think but duhhh, his voice was like a mice I could hardly hear him and I had to keep asking him "sorry repeat that please" but I didn't want to annoy him as well.

"Do you work?"
"No I'm a student..." I tried to prove that he wasn't correct out of the blue but then I added, "but yeah, I'm looking for a job, like a part-time thing."
"Ah I see. in the next month you'll be very lucky with this area, twice."

I quite forgotten, did he say twice? But then the one thing I remember most was "But the most important thing to support this all is to pray."

Now that sounds realistic. Yes, don't estimate the power of prayer.

After that, he continued it with, "Do you join prayer meetings?"
"Yes back in my school."
"I can pray for you as I'm the ........ " it was some weird undecipherable name to my ear, like I told you, teeny voice for a guy.

In the end I kinda left him since I was going to this direction and I was kinda hurrying somehow... but I'll take that. Wasn't skeptical, by the way. WDF doesn't apply here. :)

...

On the other hand... I do wish he said I'll be lucky in love. Mwahahahahahahahahah well that's OK, I do hope I would dream about my husband or boyfriend these days.

Progress update on the i.drawws, I was "down to earth" as I put it to the lecturer in duty, Sawn, as I was always in charge of pasting things to the floor. Always down and never hanging anything. So here it is, splendour made out of masking tape.

The image captured outlined by masking tape was the shadow of the bicycle from the light behind, as you can see where I was put the hardest job in the wheel part which are the spools (or spikes I don't recall the word for those meal strips) covering up the black shadows in the second snapshot.

This is just one from the many objects. More takes to come with better camera this time. :)
