Ulala.

Self birthday present I got about 2 weeks before my birth date - I saw it on Female Singapore once going for about $200... but I was loitering around the dept store in Spain, very uninterested. Until I saw BIMBA & LOLA's counter and I immediately perked up (the only young contemporary product creators within the rest of the very auntie styles, hahaha) and I saw this.

I was like, it's on sale?
Yes it's on sale for 50% to only 39 Euros.

I gaped. The lady couldn't speak English so with all my fervor I made the transaction possible. *shopper's instinct*

Now I can ulala like those Hawaiian.

I was so elated and glowing after this single necklace I'm not sure why, I think the satisfaction of 1) finding the pretty little thing, 2) actually having the power to buy, 3) it's on sale, 4) it's so cute cute cute.

So this was me after purchasing it without my parents meheheheheh.

the small bag of happiness!!!

Dip.

It's been a while, DEE AI WAI!

The summer was productive because my Santorini trip got cancelled, thanks berry much ah. On the bright side it WAS,  a very productive summer. Designed more dresses made dresses and did more DIY's and it was like a little crafty summer. And this was in July 2011 (see how I've neglected my dear dead blog for now because I'm feeding amongst many other places)

This is rather easy, you know, the usual DYING. I only did a couple experiments by using color  and trying to keep the colors together because I dyed three colors at once, but to not dye the backside... seen below.

So this was my experimental black dye with my dad's old tee, which you could see what happens to it now and it looks a fantastic add if you agree with me...

It was a whole black pail because I wanted to dye a gradual color for my grey slouched top from (X)SML, which in the end failed because I didn't bleach it first.

However after I bleached it... everyone else agrees to keep it just like that. Pictures soon!

THE BIG QUESTION: Which of the colors you guys prefer?
It is now, actually plain white again (after all this tedious work, I KNOW.)

I'll be updating this post with another DIY Collar! Tee hee.

Oxygenless.

I've been very, very busy!
Literally, last week was oxygen-less - couldn't even get a break! It's been a long while.
Monday was a fateful day for ASS preparation (assessment) where I printed off and it came our wrong (curse you Illustrator export) and had to reprint. Ka-ching ka-ching! Some moolah gone. And clear file that was half cheaper at another store. And stupid mood boards that wouldn't work to be recycled. Just all fished up! Fish fish fish. I was preparing and running around Bras Basah to buy all the needs, and finally, I DECIDED to get that Suecomma Bonnie.

Yes, this exact one.

I'm speechless. It's now in my room inside the box, I couldn't wait to wear it, and after the party, I can't wait to wear it out again! Oh my heart is loosing control for this beaaaautiful shoes I adore too much, I can't even take it off where I did a little tribute to it. Really can't take it off. Must wear them once a day. To make me feel happy and accomplished. *total happiness comes in a shoebox, like FOYF says*
You'll get to see more on my feet (like anyone hell cares) without the pink sole though but on my ugly-turned-Cinderella feet right here. That's right, feet whoring. (Y))
I was frantic to run back and forth to the printing shop and by 5PM, I gotta prepare myself for the SOE gala dinner at 6PM! And phew, I was there just on time because of the traffic jam.

The food, was absolute scrumptious. Prepared by Indo Chine, it's like, woo hoo!

The appetizer, was seafood salad. It was light, fresh, and zingy tasty! With a squirt of lemon, the cuttle fish was squishy soft with a big scallop and prawn. It's utterly sashimi delicious. The main course, was baby chicken and asparagus with red wine onion. Like others on my side say, "this is the smallest chicken drumstick I've ever seen" and I'm sure that whole thing on my plate is actually one whole piece of chicken. Since it's a baby chicken. Poor chicken, we're such cannibals. But the asparagus was big, had a sour taste but it suits well with the baked potato and chicken altogether. For the most-awaited, dessert, chocolate tart with a single mini scoop of pistachio ice cream was A TWO-THUMBS UP. The chocolate tart was really good with thick crust on the oustide, and mousse-like texture of the dark chocolate, think it should be around 55%-60% since it was quite bitter. It tasted better with the interesting pistachio taste where it wasn't sweet, had a flavor that I can't quite comprehend.

Hello, and nice to meet you guys, seated ay my table, who apparently was a LASALLE student who got the award as well, Renessa, Valerie who's making her boss' seat warm since he's not able to come =p, and Marcus, the other award winner which he didn't know until... we told him.

I rushed back home, only to find a pile of ASSessment work to do,  and didn't sleep until 5AM...
Where, on Tuesday, I went off to go for the Trans Cool Tokyo media preview by 11AM (with dropping off my ASS work before this, of course!) with the two artists present! I was thrilled to arrive and find one of the artist (although after Googling I was tad dissapointed) was really cute! xD He was 31 though. Sad sad sad. As if I would have a chance. Hahaha! And I got to take a peekture with them, and giving me such goodies where Hachiya-san drew on my postcard as his autograph! Adachiri-san did the same to my instax but he has that Otomen-face guy, shorter, much thinner, but still pale skinned cute! Too happy wappy! I was all bright by after just sleeping for 3 hours, submit assessment, then 8Q SAM before rushing to my intern place for the first day in the office! \(^o^)/

Super exciting day.

Not much to do in the office, but to kick off on our Designer's affair! Then received a call from Mario who, informed me that I had problems with my forms whatever. Had to rush back and did necessary things and FINALLY, SCHOOL IS OVER!

Can't wait to totally start on work where Wednesday was a public holiday (when I just had the hype, there has to be a holiday) and met up with Uncle to eat eat eat and Nia-chan...

Thursday was work and BEAST SOOM's dance which was coming to an end.... hard work pays off! And I primped myself on the night for
Friday. I took a day off, to meet my new boyfriend who smiled to me the camera.

OMG I DIDN'T - YES I DID - I BECAME A KISS ME - THANKS TO U-KISS IN TOWN!

[More photos in my tumblr.] Sorry Key, I had a love affair for a day because he (erhm, Eli) was in town. (I had almost totally forgot of my girlfriend because my new boyfriend is very, very manly indeed. Can't get enough of him! But after returning back home, spazzed on one-night-sing-boyfriend photos then went to knock herself and plead for guilty at fuckyeahkey Tumblr, realizing that only my girlfriend is the one for me and not any other manly-like guys)

i was out and uploading until 3AM in the morning - while checking "It's Key, bitch" tumblr thang so when I went to sleep, I was not thinking of Eli but Key. But my dream dream was to see them fight for me. Who'll win, the girlfriend or the boyfriend? kekeke~

Haven't read all the report? It's all at Gateway2Korea!

I was resting - must be, to upload all the photos and such on Saturday - which I recall that I could wake up at 9, then force myself to sleep until 1PM where I had to go somewhere... 50 Female Gorgeous People? Then... I forgot.

Sunday, other blogs' enlightments! Refinery29 has created these hilarious quizzes that yes, answers to all a normal muggle girl dream.

But my definite favorite which cracks me up is this one!

Ch-ch-ch-change.

Another round up of things with two special famous people I met this week on covering events, another transformation from me for a new season, and scoring a dinner!

That was the most amazing successful food photo I've ever taken, with my useless phone camera. The tricck is in daylight for sure but hello - the ice cream texture can't be tantalizing enough! I ordered a Big Dipper from Marble Slab to get the member card - with the ultra chocolate mix whatever - which now I know after checking their menu, Swiss Cocoa Buttercup. I'm always a chocolate sucker when it comes to ice cream. Yes! Now I'm a member. 10% off each time. The chocolate was as luscious and sinful as usual with kitkat break bits and Reese buttercups. Truthfully, they don't really have to do all that yakiniku move, do it like Baskin's Rocky Road putting in all marshmallows+almonds+chocolate syrup together. Nonetheless, we keep coming back for the richness of the sweet milk chocolate. Heaven.

Anyhow, back to a non-planned Sunday was unintended shopping spree going out with Clarisse. Iluma had a Thai Fashion fair, hence the bargain prices given (it's marked up for our market) in Thai market - I bet the tops I got were only less than $10 over there! I freakin' spent a round of $100 - don't blame me - for 6 pieces, and the last time I shopped was in July with UNIQLO and... *thinking hard* I'm sure I bought something.

Hail Paul Direk - a Thai designer brand sold at JJ market, where all cool bargain fashionable things are in Thailand. He studied in Bunka Japan OMFFFFFG and sojourned back home to build his very much affordable line. The three tee tops which nicely fits me is from Manythings. Sadly, no online portal yet but it's pretty girly line. The person selling was the designer's brother saying "ah no, I'm helping my sister to sell"
That is so kind of him!
I wanted a brother and still wants one! *Sorry my brother-complex rises again*

Monday was... blah. Cancelled class and verrrryy sluuuuuurrrreeed photography class. LMAO, that's how my unintentionally witty (or intentional) lecturer. Ridiculously funny when he doesn't mean it.

Tuesday night was with Bobby Chinn in Clarke Quay!

Because of TLC, the new revamped Discovery channel of Travel & Living Channel, and Chinn has a new show titled 'World Cafe: Middle East' airing starting this Monday at 10PM.

Adith's Lick 'N' Tell's tagline is so touche. Do pop by and see the chef wonderboy and all the glorious food he has tried/made. Most welcome, monsieur! :) Then there's me the happy oily kid getting Chinn's book, signed. I know that he wants it more and is more worthy, but, I love to keep as a keepsake! Get his recipe book and his tidbits in travelling around Vietnam/Hanoi titled 'Vietnamese Food'.
*Last photo taken in my room, with a new dusty mirror! Finally! I have a mirror! And an extra drawer top. OK that's it for room/life updates.

Friday night was the whooooo-hoooooooo, anyone declining my offer should be squriming in my seat now to not see Jung Junho in person. The actor who looks clueless in 'Righteous Ties' and had a one-sided love in the drama IRIS, looks dashingly handsome in person. No kidding.
Really really really no kidding.

Sadly, my camera sucks at night time. I really have gotten bad angles and just bad shots due to hard flash. Someone lend me a good DSLR! Sigh. T___T

Is one of the lucky people among ajummas and other girls/ladies - I should be the youngest from the rest to get a picture with him! But a bad picture. My face is - egad! - bigger than his?!
I WANT DSLR (BORROW!)!
Plus, I was LMAOing at myself as I appeared again in RAZOR TV for the photoshoot. Hey, I look better there compared to the interview stint for the K-Runway... *satisfied*

See the whole report of the event only in Korea.com!

On the fateful Saturday, it was Korean Pop Night Concert 2010 however the long-awaited e-mail didn't come at all (to have photography pass for the show) but I was still hoping for it to come. Nonetheless, to not repeat the face disaster last week in JYJ which I look horrid not Kim Tae Hee pretty while I asked a question and the trio (yes Jeje-Junsu-Micky) looked at me, I forced myself in to the salon in the morning to be ready at night (with attention grabbing hair so my divas GD and Key will see my way! kekeke~)

Say goodbye to that untamed wavy dry versus sleek straight undirectioned hair because...
The 4 hours from 11AM gave me a tamed transformation instead of the avant-garde layered cut I wanted.

This was what I wanted - saved and showed to the stylist:

Wanted layers like No. 1, hair color No. 2, Style of Dyeing No. 3 or No.1, Hair cut layer addition No. 4.

Ended up with pretty dangling curls and... what, black hair!?

Wait, the only part I like is that streak of red, placed at THE BACK. THE BACK. D:

Can't even see from this angle!

Nevermind. I have bangs! Bleached! Under the visible layer though. Goodness. I paid $*** for this instead of just $**. I am happy with the new cut but well, yea-a-a-a-h, I wasn't going on for cuuuute....
Will upload a outfit post next week in celebration of the new hair - promise. I'll suspense ya'll to the new look...

I have to wait for a change next year - another new season! Arrrghhhhh. So this is my new hair ch-ch-ch-change in... OH GOODNESS since last December '09 before my Japan trip which I haven't finished blogging! Ha ha ha ha (trails away running away)

So, I missed the K-Pop Night. SO WHAT.

bye boys! BB/SHINee left immed. at 1AM - I know Key couldn't sleep well without Jjong by
his side so they gotta go catch the earliest plane possible because he can't bear to be part with him•

Well, that's what I THOUGHT until...

Sunday
I was totally WRONG. Fangirl session with Peggy was crucial because I left her (planned to go to concert together but I didn't get pass/sold ticket already) and while enjoying the sweet peanuts she passed me from her hometown, she brought the fateful camera who went with her and captured the BIGBANG! S-H-I-N-ee-SHINEY! and FTISLAND ROCKS! moments.

We were screaming in PS' Kopitiam didn't care anyone looked and all I could say each time was, "anjing!"countless times throughout the video - whether it's very very close record of Taeyang, Key, Minho, Taemin, GD and Top (of course Minhwan the drummer is always the hardest to catch) all I screamed was "anjing anjing anjiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing"

So the week ended with lots and lots, pouring, big drops of dogs. 'ANJING! They're sooooooo fineee'

And dang it dang it dang it THEY DID HAVE A MINI-PRESS CON DANG IT 아이구오! 진짜 아이ㅆ후! >; \

Only opened for Xin MSN and RAZORTV. Ah, Minhwan/Key/GD/Top/Youngbae looked so fine~

*Do-oh, the header logo is noneother from                                             which I introduced previously.
