Five.

Spot Liberty? My mind is in this mess. How can you not be in the world today?

In just 5 weeks enrolled in school for my MA course, I have gotten all my curiosities and answers I needed about life, culture, and of Japan (as my specialist region lies in Asia, Japan was my ultimate source of curiosity and inspiration to why they are the 'finest' breeds of all society in Asia).

6 hours of class per week, the entire week dedication of borrowing and reading books from the reading week.

My life-deepening curiosities were (some related to how to rise cultural capital and creative industries):
1. How Japan rose and became 'The Asia' and be in par with the benchmark against Western 'culture'
2. Why is the world is as is today?
3. The vulnerability of the now generation and the bleak future for the next gen
4. Why is the no. 1 media and entertainment content has and always been America? Is it because its in English?

And, I found those and found much, much, much more to put me into insanity

20.

Should I say I'm a liberal woman, I'm a free woman, I'm an emancipated woman from Asia, this is something important as I am well up and standing today in this modern era.

Updated: Another website but not in relation to the middle-up society in most developing/developed countries portray the urgency for the need for attention in this 21st C. - it might not be our problem to meddle but it's the dreams those every little girls posses before they even get to dream, can't do due to tradition. I've signed it, what's your say? > Too Young To Wed

I now am 20 this year and with my life scope, experience, and current standings and upbringings, modern media and perceptions clearly redefine life, especially for Asian women. I'm Asian, I'm a woman, which path should I go - chase my stars, or let low and feel the grounds?

20 and forever 19 at heart. No one does this sht except Asians. <3 span="">

50 years ago, our grandmas would've been married by the time she was 14 and had her first child (only child for people in the Republic of China). They didn't know about education, life, and continued to serve her husband, the man of the house.

Today, where I am standing as well in the position of an Asian woman and educated within the western structure as well as to it being exposed, our demands, aspirations and willing to follow our ancestral lead in life.

Women used to be the last resort for anything, and is not given chance to expand their horizons. Sometimes, it might be a better case to leave work for men because now the workforce is so competitive, both men and women now are vying for the last space of the chair to get hired.

What if women kept on following their parents' wish to stay home and do housework? Perhaps the workforce will not have this kind of beguiling, competitive, dynamic, overwhelming industry. But today, we are also in pursuit to be successful in the career ladder, and thus, priorities in life, is re-arranged.

Marriage used to be a must and is sacral; we now see non-married couples living together like a married couple. Now, Asian women, whom is taught to get hitched no matter what, is also following the business-minded footsteps for gender equality like any Western and decides to focus on their career over family. Article provides relevant changes and facts in today, and it's not absent among in my country as well.

A lot of feminists strive to put females to be equal as males.

Or, the fact that the male population is a little on deplete because it's a "cat eat cat and dog eat dog world" where men dates other men, leaving women empty-handed and thus goes on with getting another women.

I was in an arts school where our liberated minds do not put discrimination against; rather as the very best friends anyone can ever have. Trust me - I can enjoy my time much better in gay parties compared to a regular club. Global Times has pinned it down and I only could laugh while reading it ("ahoy, that's me in the situation! Love my boys")

20 is a start of a redefining decade - there's no more TEEN in my years, it's time to get even more serious. Like, serious. Pretty serious. I take my life pretty seriously or me in doing everything and having the label "being the youngest successful ________" in it because I have what everyone do not have - youth and age number. Something that can let me through the finish point.

And now I'm halfway to be 21 - legal to do anything.

The issue came up when I emigrated home for a year break before continuing my studies later this year. Aunties, moms, and moms' friends would say "Hello, so do you have a boyfriend?" and in fact, today would be some informal seogaetting going on. I wouldn't mind - it's a way to meet people and do networking for I work from home. As a home kid, I rarely go out.

But the little nags and prayers for it gets to me pretty well and I understand that I'm still Asian and the even bigger fact I'm the only daughter in the house of course, makes my mom worried. (Thanks dad for not pestering and instead underlining my education and work is important, dating is another priority).

Asian. Marriage. Women. Life.

A friend of mine got married last year, age 19. Another one at 20. Another one prior to the end of her studies hitched at 21. I'm not complaining, it's them, why not? Life as Lady of Leisure is something I want as well - who doesn't want to live the big LL (living large) and be a tai-tai?

But again, it's me (helloooo, the girl who wants to be a gagwoman? yeah). Unless I'm chasing my serious dreams, whut derr fakq dreams, daily dose sleeping and potato couching, I'm a very happy-go-lucky follow-the-flow que-sera-sera. I gots time, no worries.

NEVER TOO SERIOUS FOR ANYTHING.

With a target.

Adventure Time!

Fanatical.

A simple video I wanted to watch on Youtube actually offered me to choose which ad (there was 2) to watch before my video.

I haven't rambled in years to what my blog's name reflects but well, this is for all young girls and boys to fathom what is really going on behind your $3.8billion, you donated 0.001-2%, depending on how many repackaged albums you buy.

More than a cut, deeper than the skin, the society that is trying so hard or has its benchmark set high up that is indeed, scary for me, a normal whatever-i-dont-care human. Now I'd have to be so paranoid if I ever lived there (because I'm not caucasian, their no. 1 muse).

I immediately chose the second, entitled "SEOUL FASHION WEEK" that was about 30 minutes long (will this Ad actually work?)

Which turns out to be VICE's documentary embedded below. I watched it entirely on full screen (hello Begi!!! so cute with leftover English scones) for it to be an actual recent take, which took place 2 weeks ago. Yes, please watch it in the biggest screen you have to realise.

The fashion, to the extent was not just about fashion, it was everything encapsulated in a rational POV.

Cheers to Charlotte who walked casually, tried on the augmented fitting model on the subway (I have a research paper copy on this, it's real apparently so)

pulled a couple to pick on COUPLING UNDIES WHICH IS ABSURD (who the heck will see, which means I know those purchasing are sexually active thanks)...

Meeting tattoo/barber rock punk and him being embarrassed and share his state of mind what Hallyu means to him...

Meeting HSB and cornering him to inanely say SHINee and the rest of bands are overtly protective...

Double surgery eyelids... "Very very happy and I want to be like you because you're beautiful..." and the part where the person is crying I had to hold my breath. Not really good with NCIS and CSI body scenes either.

(What about me the elephant body and "I think I'm Ugly and nobody wants to love me" face?)

Infinite / D-UNIT meeting and shuffling with them (wow isn't she tall!)...

But hey, I thought it was a review of Seoul Fashion Week but it's not. Its the current diagnose of things to break stereotypes of the perfect and happening South Korea.

Many things to remorse this week, including James Bond coming to Indonesia... a decade ago.

The S.K. society is gets perfection by the minute, making its humanity a volatile place as one can try to survive. Not as the survival of the fittest, but the most fairest of them all both female and male.

"But on the first day their child is born, their past secrets will come back".
That is the last scariest remark of the entire being.

Moolah.

And so there's been this frenzy going on with a journo from Strait Times in which I didn't catch.
(Well, sorry that I have not been in touch on my Twitter [which I have moved as a Specialist on KLOUT yay! Not that it matters to you], nor Facebook).

Well, a day after this, I have an announcement that this post is updated. I just finished watchin KBS Entertainment Weekly. They were talking how K-Pop lyrics are so boggling on how empty the meaning and all their glizy blitzy music. They too, are talking and critical about it but can't do anything as it is such a major contribution into the pop culture and arts wave, in which why Singapore is getting some moolah thanks to this too.

Pop Critic Im Jinmo states that this situation with the English wannabe and weird lyrics that you force English inside the song makes "K-pop deem shallow and cheap..." and another media person says, "but when you see pretty faces and cool dances, you forget everything about the lyrics."

So Ms Chia, before you regurgitate your inmost opinion on national paper, you should know that Koreans themselves actually are anti-kpops. You're not alone. Or, the Koreans I know, such as my classmates and peers that are around me 95% they seriously do not like K-Pop, as it's rare to find a Korean outside of Korea who is a crazy fan like me. That explains how 80% of MAMA votes are overseas. Teenage years onwards and ones who live overseas hates K-Pop so much, and they reward me the label of walking K-Gossip dictionary when I asked a new scandal news which they just give a shrug over.

This new move I think, is because why I ditched western pop in the first place when I first met K-pop.

Sick of K-pop Cult [in Singapore]

The headline first greets.

It's a local media here in Singapore and the journo, Adeline Chia (which I am surprise she's got her fan page, maybe I should start making one for pictures and videos which didn't make the cut for OUR favorite K-Pop and J-stars, who's up? I'M HEARING YOU BELOW. LOL /hangmealready)

Let's break down her rants in this first ever utterubishing of the year before you can try and comprehend how do you say whutderrfakqizvat.

It's seriously been a long time since I utterubbish, a column here on my blog to say concrete opinions, no-offence taken.

I found whatever picture I had uploaded here, this must be DBSK when they were at their glorious days, but like what Chia says, they don't "live a life that's like a movie" which caused their 13-year contract to end and move out and to form JYJ.

The plastic fantastic making machine (read: trinity of the Korean entertainment, and latest new ones for the new fresh too-young-to-even-sing-or-act-or-have-low-voice boy groups that has been sprouting like wild mushrooms) has only one aim: MOOLAH MAKING MACHINE.

Don't you know how much they rake in MERCHANDISES (which I fell that when I was younger, now I know better to not spend... NOT) and SINGLE SALES (seriously not worthed but it is because how beautifully packaged it is and the PHOTOBOOKS) and PHOTOBOOKS (for further emphasis). I BET TONS OF GIRLS MELTED OVER THAT JAEJOONG SCENE (that's why I screenprint and I was oogling over it.  Couldn't find the post of where I used this pic but I found this EPIC one instead for good)

Everyone still with me and agrees?

Now I'm a fan here, I've been in the Hallyu Wave since late 2005, which makes me a proud veteran to support and enjoy this entertainment, but I am rational and I'm in the middle. Continuing my profession to upgrade myself as a 'professional fangirl' by being a journalist, my previous and upcoming background in media and culture studies proved further for me to make a point and to lead everyone, young and old, to please see both sides. Don't get rushed off, see left and right when you cross or you'll get hit.

"To any disinterested observer, it was a blatant rip-off. To the fans, it was like communing with the gods. It was a uniquely depressing experience but during the show, I couldn not put my finger on the reason."

I cannot agree more. But this is a movement called ˆsafest way to do business, 110% guarantee REVENUE" event. I was at one last year and I've forgotten to multiply the ticket price to my home country's currency which I usually do becuase I am blinded by the news that my gods are coming (Haaaaail JYJ). It was like VVVIP ticket if it were to be back home and I got like faraway seats for a friggin' showcase. But well, since we love them so very much we will support them till the end, right?

#AKTF

That's the power of fans. Without us, the entertainment industry will never start.
General rule, people, there's a demand, there'll be high-octane selling supply. Hot cakes, krispy donuts, you name it.
Ms Chia, didn't you learn this in business class?

Don't tell me you're loosing to me in knowing the world of competitive stocks and loan sharks.

"A lot has been made about the Hallyu Wave, the unstoppable South Korean pop culture tsunami that has washed up on the shores of the world, conquering music charts, television ratings and the wall space of adolescents’ rooms.
I am heartily sick of it. Every bit of it. The manufactured sounds, the ersatz emotions, the clone-like stars, the cult-like, weepy fandom."

I understand. It's because how Singapore is such a lucrative city to make the moolah churn for all K-pop. Remember the days where we whutderrfakq Thailand back in 2007-2008 because all K-pop stars seem to go there and greet fans and never in Indonesia and rarely in Singapore? I know I did lament it every time I met my Thai friends.

And then I was crying and screaming of joy when K-POP NIGHT CONCERT 2008 as the first ever concert in Singapore, without any tickets that are sold but is pretty full house to my mom, "MOM I CAME TO SINGAPORE AT THE RIGHT TIME RIGHT PLACE RIGHT MOMENT. Fandom support finally pays off after watching religiously every night of ArirangTV, I now get to see Wonder Girls 'Nobody' live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

And Nobody was, in fact, the song of the year in 2008, and in Bugis street today, it is still repetitively, on the loop, played by that juice stall.

I have to stop reminiscing as my fangirl spaz keeps on surfacing...

At any case however, I wonder why you are even sick of it in the first place... if you only see us trending it on Twitter, and see overnight queues, and you hear it once in a while because it's well, JOB CALLS, you can't push it on your culture vulture - you're already making negative comments in this contemporary culture that we all agree it's taking over the world. I know - why don't you kindly decline the offer to cover the event - and pass the job onto a colleague who I would believe would appreciate it more?

I 've met the press peeps as in the same position as you and I are - some of them are totally clueless about it, in which the general remark is "they look all the same!!!!!" which I totally understand. Unless you're an actual fan, all the girls are like hot off the taiyaki pancake making at ION B4.

Unless otherwise stated, I would have to take sides with K-Pop now that if you're writing this because you're only a person who's examining us from the reflective bubble surface, you're only seeing yourself. If you're inside the bubble, that means you have already been exposed the ins and outs, and finally pop the bubble to get out of the 'ridiculous' cult group you say but so at least your say is much more substantial than what it is now, a recycled grey paper, in the bin by this hour.

You are sick of it - then please explain what Beliebers are. Beiber is a good competitor in his seventeens, and arguably has bigger fanclub than what Cassiopeia (TVXQ) is.

"This seems to be the drill: Train some nice-looking kids in a star factory. Assemble a group of them. Give them a name that is an abbreviation for something or just a random collection of letters and numbers.
The girls must have stick-thin arms and legs and the boys must look a bit like girls. Next, produce a song that is the demon child of lady Gaga and Black Eyed Peas. Throw in Autotune, hip-hop beat and strong synth lines. Make a video that is a mini movie, featuring the stars doing synchronised dance moves while the back-up dancers gurn at the sides.
Voila! You have a viral hit."

Only one explanation Ms Chia.
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-LAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

(OH! It works. I didn't plan this post to have this title beforehand and this pun worked! Sasuga, watashi-wa, hyahahahahaha)

Let me explain how the K-Pop works - leave talented Wheesung, Leessang, 8ight, VOS, SG Wannabe, etc. alone, they're not part of K-Pop we're talking about here - they focus on spur of the moment boom.
A quick escalation to popularity, and to find a long downhill after 3-4 weeks. Senior groups would last longer as their popularity soars and most music channels keep them up 1st place due to votes. Once in a while, a song of the year appears. The last time I know, it's a fight between Nobody and Abracadabra...
This year's song of the year, 2NE1, though I voted for them, have to say it's short-lived. But it is song of the year because not only I hear the song is used at GAG Concert and aptly fits well, it also is a stance for the girl groups to be so dominant and have the guts to say 'I AM THE BEST." Maybe your perception can change if you were to watch YG Concert hopefully next yaer as their concept is far then the 'Formuta T' you're talking about. And which this formula is implemented.

"I worry about these starlets who are worked to the bone and whose careers last as long as their good looks. Then they are discarded like rag dolls."

I feel you Ms Chia. I feel the very same way that this industry is so about the looks and popularity and not judged by the real vocal skill and how big their lungs capacity is. Sadly, it is the world we are at, and it goes in the same for fashion. I feel bad for the boyband "Boyfriend" as it so doesn't appeal to me but  a lot to younger girls because they're "SO CUTEEEEEEEEE."

Once they're not cute, they are down the drain. Should know that this K-Pop is the tapao entertainment - takeaway, instant and quickly be discarded once you're done with it. Fans ages 17 and above should start reasoning well on why they like other than "because they're handsome!" and I sure to believe to hope that they will stick to them till the end, sometimes even until they disband.

"Recently, watching a sea of red lightsticks keeping beat to a song made me and my companion grab on to each other. Eyes wide in terror, we communicated wordlessly for fear of persecution. Our faces said this: ‘Are we at a cult gathering?’
K-pop is also unique in inspiring extreme behaviour from fans and generating psychosis. Cyber-bullying and online smear campaigns are common practices by anti-fans who target a certain entertainer they hate."

Aww, please don't say that, I am a bit offended by this. We're not a cult, we're a family who supports one group. Isn't it the same if you loved Brad Pitt when you were in your teenage years? Or watching your Keeping Up with Your Hollywood nutty-empty-headed stars every week and gape over them?

Since we're proud Asians, we do things our way to show our support. I have been in this 'underground' weird cult then since I first met it in 2005 and I am proud that I have stuck and went through with it in the nightmare of highschool where I was the only one going balls with K-Pop and dramas and all things Korean - and here it is, payback time. I have reaped my hard work. And I am still a proud Cassie, VIP, Blackjack, Fluxus girl, whatever you call, and even more proud that I am part of the hot movement of the year.

Overnight Q's and restless nights with tents on the street isn't new - it might be for you, but if you were to travel and have seen the world the worst and best of East and West, Harry Potter fans queued like hazzard 1 WEEK BEFORE, worst than us K-Pop (which I still think it's ridiculous). But that's how we show our love.

Now please save me from a sea of PINK LIGHTSTICKS tomorrow (one down today) full of boys, and not girls. The cheers, Ms Chia, should I state the obvious, isn't the high-pitch scream from the cult you went to, but tenor to bass-pitched, or more like lions roaring, in the sold-out, full house Indoor Stadium. I think SNSD's voices will drownnnnnnnnn because hunters are on prowl for your not-so-juicy lean-cut thighs.

So yeah, deal with it, we're making a tsunami.
F4 from Taiwan last time made a serious damage to even domestic' helpers everywhere, why hsould this be any different?

Westlife, all went crazy too.

After that, so sad that boybands died down in the West.

Then, came along FINKL, HOT, GOD... and the rest is history when it slowly climbs to popularity and now sky-rocketing so fast that it will hit its Maturity peak soon, so don't you worry Ms Chia. Singapore, will get over it next year, when I leave. Next year will be the final year before fangirls grow up, saying its 'oh another K-Pop act' and not '!@3$*()&#%(*@#&%)(@*&)!@(*&$)(*& they're coming!!!!!'  and wasting about $150 average per event, tax and service and hardship not included.

*taps blackboard furiously*

Fellow students and fangirls and fanboys, let us recap what we have learnt today.
Behind all creatives, unless labelled on our foreheads 'dying artists', is a COMPANY.
Where it is a company, it would only sustain if there are positive revenues.
If there are no profits created, then it is a NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION.

So, before you even try and say we are weepy crying fans all over made boys who lasts only how pretty they look, and vice versa for fanboys all over SNSD goddesses today and tomorrow, without us making hype, without them making idols, without the world to have a place, WE JOURNALISTS AND REPORTERS WILL HAVE NO LIFE IF IT ISN'T FOR THEM. HALLELUJAH FOR FREE EVENTS FOR ME although a few I don't have a clue at all what or who I'm watching (I don't support rookies until I see them live and they impress me then OK).

Thank goodness for events in this tiny country, what if there's no K-Pop? Your advertising media rates won't rise high during MAMA 2011 live screening raking millions, and local magazines who just puts any K-Pop star for its cover gets a boost of 30% sales higher, well, see the good side. If you have war, Singapore can drown any single time. You got no lions to take care of you now Ms Chia, because,

quote unquote a pal of mine, "you've messed with the biggest fan group in the world of K-Pop."

Then in my speculations, MAMA 2011 is a joint effort of CJ and YourSingapore. Of course, tourism in Singapore has gotten a slight boost and name now. And they're trying to seriously make a 1 trillion won deal or so. But if let's say they're signing the deal on Monday, and this article you have written is published, I wonder what the Ministry of Tourism have to say by reading their citizen writing in a negative point of view of regurgitating the obvious facts of the industry.

They would ring you to death and will shrill that 'SO WHAT THEY'RE LIVE-BARBIE AND KEN-MAKING FACTORY, WE WANT THE MOOOOOOOOO LAH!"

Oops, you've screwed a 1 trillion won deal.

See you at Super Show 4! (Maybe)

Futile.

I KNOW, THERE'S SOMETHING TERRIBLY WRONG WITH MY BLOG.

It is the layout. And the domino effect for the typefaces and the spacing and all that. For all bloggers out there to have clicked the new 'Dynamic' features and all, be prepared to be in a jumbled state of mess like what I did to my own journal     whut derr fakq iz vat     right here,
all the art direction and typefaces and spacing and all those jitters critters which we designers care and the ubiquitous fandom bloggers don't - please bear with me as I'm on the trail to pull my software engineering roommate - plus did I tell you she understands most of the Big Bang Theory jokes?! I'm not kidding - and my design expertise off the line but not on the line nor Blogger templates which makes it all gone to make things right.

Until then, whut derr fakq seriously screams WHUT DERR FAAAAKQQQ THE LAYOUT IS ALL WRONG!

(seriously graphic designer in anger pissed yours,
RICE)

Worth?

This is reality. After looking at the real thing, I rejoiced that my expectations is right! It was not just OK, the collection overall should be totally horrible. Parisians and Japanese who really think of the inner quality and trimmings should be aghast by the sight of the collection's finishing. Oh mee goreng this is more than just mee goreng. If I did this for my sewing projects last year, what will my teacher tell me?
"F for fail!"

The person who bought this should be quite pissed. Well, if it's me who's buying. But the outside doesn't look too good either, on the verge of dropping its bling blings after a couple washes. And oh my goodness gracious the zipper, it's not even invisible zipper but with that extra strip of fabric somewhat I dunno.
Updated with more shots.

Oh Elbaz, it's not you who broke my heart. H&M's target level/manufacturing did.

On the sunny bunny bright side, those of you who are still brand-conscious and would like a piece of this crap darling, we're selling away the red chiffon beauty off! Dress located in Singapore. Go to eBay and quote of the best price. Good luck to bidders! <3

Instead of the dress, yes I REALLY WANT THE HANGER AND THE CLOTHES SAVER - PRINTED IN THE CHEAPEST MATERIAL EVER (CALICO) BUT THE PICTURE IS OOGLING TOO CUTE.

DAYMN, SO CUTE RIGHT.

Thought of the day.

BURN

WED's recap:
Needless to say much more after a preparation for whole day shoot,
early sleep taking double doze of cold killer pills and 5 Mini-bee, s
pinning head early dawn and slept a bit more after taking another cold killer pill in case and dozed off,
late,
forgotten all lotions and rushed all the way on top north to Singapore promising I'll be arriving at 7:45AM but I was late for 7:47AM and I was expecting you guys are out there waiting and I could just hop on and let's start the day.
And then how easily said "Oh we've changed the time 8:30 but yeah we're going now" and I've waited in the taxi stand butt hurts and finally coming to halt at the stop another 45 minutes later there... boo ya!
heck you think I got time in the morning I've texted I'll be running late with spinning banging head - - - - -
아이구ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ 이세상에...
Please I'm trying my freaking best to get the rest I can get and be present and ready to have some fun in the shoot! I'm not looking for a selfish teammate who leaves us all but a Hobson's choice in the end that makes my presence uncomfortable and feels like heck yeah, a 外人 from all of you. What did I do wrong that made ya'll stayed away from me?

As a sensible Indonesian person we all tend to restrain ourselves from vomiting all our curses and instead be a passive, receive everything giving up the 100% privilege we have in order to make the team work work WORK IT!

Nonetheless, apart from a grave news I'm about to tell about my current situation, it was PURE AWESOME FUN - with lots of surprises and of course, a great surprise to our lecturers later since what I felt was what we promised them before in our pitches isn't 100% seen in this final shots we have.

The Lord was fair though - I couldn't say life is unfair - although through my years here I've been like an auntie here, sunglasses and UVA/UVB lotion and umbrella every meter I go, and just by A DAY, all those maintenance is GONE. G O N E, I tell you. We needed the sun,
He gave the sun,
the whooolllleee day long accompanying us in the shoot from the 'baywatch' view to the forests, the rays were angel sent.

*sigh.*

I could only show myself now that I look like this:

#*($ULKWUTTTTTTDERRRRFAAAAAAKKKKQQQQQIIIIZZZVVVVVIIIISSSTRUUTHHIHAVETO TAKEMYSKINHAVETOTAKEWHATWILLMYDERMATOLOGISTSAYYYYYYYYYGRROHHHHHHH0#(@#)_()_$@(^)_@$*^*_)&!)@(*@()%&*(#^()*$)*^(*@#^)(@#*&_)(!&_)@($&)_@(&_@()&)(&_)(WFFFAWERWAWRAQAQAQQQQQ T____________T

Again, God was fair and the next day it was whole day cloudy.
A day to recover myself from the threats of bad sun rays that gave me PANDA EYES (THANKS TO SUNNIES, it's the most embarrassing thing ever I couldn't believe Photo Booth captures it! Now I'll be in sunnies forever) AND JUICY MEDIUM-COOKED UPPER-ARM.

DO YOU SEE THAT DIFFERENCE? LET ME SHOW YOU.

I know it isn't as bad as the champion Yulin, but to me this is just the start of my treacherous expect-skin-cancer-coming-your-way-earlier and if you know me then yes, this is not an "oh, it's OK" but I would need an anti-depressant after frequent mirror checks.

It was worth the sacrifice though, I can't wait to see the bright crisp results thanks to the SUN!

Weather not to good for chilling and taking care of flea mart stall in school as the wind blows in and made my Nylon Japan magazine gone extruded freckles...

Alfy, you still owe me/us a treat! Hahahahaha! Thanks to you OUR stall sales went totally under revenue non-profited.

However, my anti-depressant was pretty good for a cheer up 1AM in the morning today:

THE SUPERWOWOMG LATEST EDITION OF DAZED & CONFUSED JAPAN! DEAREST CURRENT Nihon-jin koibito, Hiroki Uchi-kun from Yamato Nadeshiko no Shichi Henge (HECK MOVE OVER KAME I never liked you in the first place) and OH GAWD HOW UCHI-KUN IS PERFECT FOR ALL THINGS HIGH.

then I start to picture le boyfriend in those outfits too.

JUST SUPER.
Good night have to rest early I got some phlegm stuffing my nose due to weather change and itchy throat.
You guys gotta take care take cover too I didn't expect that I would get sick. Grr.

Sacred?

OMG Indonesians, whut derr fakq are you thinking in a sacred place you guys worship and taking over (as in the major religion) and doing it in a Mosque's toilet, and caught red-handed with the cleaner at night?

And I thought our country's having another dilemma due to the recent natural disasters and its prognostications that might damage our archipelago's surfaces...
Only in Indonesia... (I hope! Speechless.)

Tick-tock-tick-tock...!

Moments just...

Pondering a must...

What have I freaking done in the past year why so fast leh another year coming by and adding +1 to the year and then I still haven't done anything except to watch Youtube every now and then as my TV whilst doing sewing/drawing/typing/designing/laughing/pounding on the table/sleeping/snoozing?

Aiyyyoohhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Tomorrow wouldn't be a happy day for me, Mr. Steven... I've got classes from 9 till' 5 after a wasteful 2 hours of textiles where we don't learn a single thing then work from 6-10:30PM.
Anyone wanting to be served by the sweet seventeen girl do come by to the restaurant I work!
Irashaimasu! :D
Gladly serving you all~

Well, well, accomplishments at the mere same age (and even less, nonetheless!) that I should be envious of... is this.

Yes, yes do click for more and find out how the power of image and a bit of higher finance standing would do the trick in breaking the ice in the disastrous cold industry of fashion where it's not about your talent but about who you know.

(That was from Mark Lim my photography lecturer who graduated from Parsons and looks like the Pringles icon.
Heehee.)

As soon as you start flipping that window, then you'll relate. Whut derr fakq iz vat news! Why are they in the front row! Why not real people with real talent who actually does go to school? Then why am I still stuck here paying for school fees while people wearing designer labels without 'formal training' (unecessary but still it's unfair for us educated) are invited to be. Then I would simply drop out of school this instant and use the money to get those bling bling platforms and bottom red soles, yes?

I guess the freedom and getting more responsibility, controlling when the key to my life's ignition should be turned on or off is already in my hand; more utterubishing and complaining and just being a good citizen of speaking out. I hope everyone's liberal here.

*sigh* Jealous much?

One of my most beloved illustrators, Fifi Lapin, celebrated her birthday on the 24th, just 4 days before me~

What to wear on my birthday? Well this is what Fifi did.

Extravagant lavish out of the box quirky laughable lovable party costumes did she pull off! A funky rabbit I would love to own, my own white wabbit, Ruby, likes to sleep instead of dressing up.
(it is now my wallpaper!)

My adored white towering heels are here with me sent from home! Thus another pure white outfit I'll pull of this Saturday for a family lunch; everything white white white (except the bag so sad I do not own any white bag to match everything off).

"Don't forget to make a wish!" My mom told me yesterday, asking if there would be cake at the scene.

What do I want? I wasted 4 years on Daniel Radcliffe and London, 2 years on Minhwan and FT Island, what's in for this year? I myself have no hormones to go shopping except taking Cotton On store down, anyone sharing the credit card to me? :)

*found the headphones I want! Mix Style from Japan, typed thru Google for white headphones but I got this instead. The price isn't hefty too! Hmmmm a dream come true?*

*Oh no Lyssa-chan I don't think I'm over the pink suitcase yet. I guess I should get this one and stencil yellow duckies on it, should I? It kind of looked like this~*

*If I wasn't careless and be so easy about the apartment incident and charged my friends beforehand so at least I won't loose 2k all on my own I would definitely spent on the snake 'dangerous heels' skin of Prada's (the colors are gorgeous the ones I want which is not here) or the last (4th) transparent Chanel 'Cinderella' heels, I call it!
Found it from Hapsical blog which boasts mostly on shoes and high streets, LOVE!*

*It made me want to have an iPod again. I do still have the old version of Nano (anybody wants? Rock bottom price still new in the box!) and I think it will fit... the adorable ears!)*

Any others just read my wish list I drew with black ballpoint (scroll down...) But the thing I want is ALL COTTON ON! :D

How to waste the last day of being a teenager for me:

Spending time watching my secret blackmailed boyfriend doing his thang with a dance pole and blowing me a sexy kiss! A happy girlfriend I am! My 16-year-old butt is not sitting but my 16-year old feet are jumping in the air and my 16-year-old hands are clapping and pounding the table madly and my 16-year-old eyes are deliriously fluttering and my 16-year-old brain goes blank.

Oh made a mental note that designer is the future designer I'll work with after I graduate. Mr. Ha, please scout me together with my talented boyfriend! We've got the same taste!

Ah! This will by my birthday wish, see how many years will I waste on, but either South Korea or Japan wold be my goal after!

My hubby has no time for me today... ;'(

So to cheer me up I used the laughing gas.

The series of Exploring the Human Body is remarkably supremely interesting! Even though SuJu is not my favorite boyband but people who like them and learn some biology perks is hitting 10 birds with a stone, the whole pole line!

*taking a deeeeeep breath and release...* Back to drawing and textile work damn it.

iwannagohere!

hontouni tabetai tabetai tabetai tabetai tabetai tabeta, Lyssa-chan, ikuzo!
Sorry, wrong information, thought it was under $10/person, but it's because of this coupon.

My dream was to eat all 17 favorite desserts for my 17th birthday, but then I can't find 17 or then I have no time to make a tour de Singapore dessert with friends, so I guess this can be this month's compensation for myself? I guess only a friend every time... somehow...

Anonymous (Singaporean) readers, here's a little reward you get for reading my blog. Found this from a website somewhere after hunting for food spots!
Anyone taking this please comment, saying hontouni domo arigatou gozaimasu to moi x)

And then I searched far and low for this and I found a sneak peek about this heavenly dessert and it is absolutely tempting my guts to stay and keep slim after a lost of 6kg which would add like 3 more kg's after eating here...

*from Prince Arty*

On the same note, desserts are 99% the happiness but it 1% is lacking, aka. service, then it won't be the same cheerful mood but rather eating the dessert and talk rubbish about the waiter or server or whatever that may annoy the customer.

The first time I ate in Marble Slab creamery, it was heavenly! The moment I got hands on a $2 coupon my friend Ina and I decided to stop by after volunteering. I tried something from the chocolate menu and she tried with the Birthday Cake Ice cream, which was unique and tasted better than mine too but at least the one who mixed the ice cream had put ALL the ingredients: the crunchy toppings and syrup or whatever.

Our server was a guy who we saw from beginning to end, first reading the recipe list before making in the slab, then he took the ice cream, pressed it to the marble slab then added blueberries, and a white sauce (turns out to be marshmallows..? Okay, the taste should not be as pleasurable as I thought as it was just liquid and mixed... we thought it would be those real small marshmallows) but no granola.

The image we saw was quite chunky, mixed with dark violet then white marshmallows peaking and chips of granola.
After he finished mixing it, he moved it to the cup. I was quite confused at the time he was making it, he didn't put any granola or at least what we saw was no yellow-brown rocky stuff sticking out. We thought he would put it at the end as a topping, which was of course, weird because it should be mixed altogether.

Then in the cashier we finally asked, "Uh, where's the granola? there's no granola and marshmallows too."
The guy server said "It's already there I mixed it remember? the white sauce is marshmallows and its all inside."
So we paid, then sat down, thinking OK maybe it should be inside.
When we ate, when i thought i biten something and thought, oh this must be the granola, but it's not; bitter was the blueberry but there was no granola at all. And no marshmallows too!

So as it goes, rather than my friend and I happily chatting about other happy things as their tag line goes (find happiness within) we kept talking about how we are so cheated and wanted to take those toppings that were aligned behind as a decoration but real, since the only thing we tasted were the blueberries.

Felt cheated. Wanted to get those crunchy bites but didn't. So it was a plain sad lavender cream we ate. Nothing else.

As a final look, there was 3 guy servers and a girl cooking the waffles alone. She looked most decent as she was at the far end just making those waffles, as after the guy served me his two other server mates were eating ice cream in little cups, freeloading which I would understand however please do not eat in front of a customer? And joking around...Whut derr fakq dudes!
Feel sorry for you, waffle girl. I know you probably also want to eat those yummy smelling waffles but you held back. You should get a higher payment than those three!

Maybe to the management, next time please do hire a more representable server, I'm now a waitress myself and I know where should I put myself in, which is under the customer. Don't get me disappointed because of this; I'm already reluctant to go back if it's not for the special price offers/coupons.

Contrastingly Controversial.

Whut derr fakq iz vis!
Seriously,

Let's start with,

The bad catch of the day:

This lucky Hollywood duck has landed a collaboration with THE Max Azria behind all those bondage dresses and she doesn't have a background in fashion whatsoever but the power of her name for branding, marketing and of course, getting all it takes to raise that profit margin of Walmart, ingratiating into the tween market, the start of looking into the mirrors much more in depth and wanting to dress like their idol stars.

Sure it does, as I checked it out online, I've clicked on a couple T's and it's all sold out. Super thrifty price all under $20 however designs are for the Juniors section (which means sadly I, as a anti-Cyrus however since the price is such a bargain and a slave for absolute good stuff for a damn price AND of course it's not only Cyrus, it's Azria [but does he really do anything? Only as a brand awareness? Designs are more like from the fashion CAD and just adding patterns, really]!)

Rockbottom cheapo liquid leggings that I love, of course that Union Jack tee slashing the Topshop price for 60-70% of the original price and the slim body I want (hate to admit).

“I love creating looks that are all about personal expression and individuality,” Cyrus says. “Collaborating with Max Azria has been an amazing experience and I’m really excited about launching this line with Walmart. There’s even more to come!”
-Miley Cyrus
All I can say is, nyyyeeeeeehhhhhhhhhh. Here I am one of the million gazillion so-called fashion students and there she is having NOTHING as her background and just making people laugh and since she's a starlet obviously designers would dress them for free but would have to state their name, and I'm JEALOUS. ENVIOUS. GRUDGINGLY. Resentfully bitter against her. Hollywood is surely the best little stepping stone anyone can do.

I HOPE TO GET PAST INTO THE HALLYUWOOD INSTEAD THEN MAKE MYSELF KNOWN THERE AND THEN THAT'S 50% OF MY LIFE'S GOAL. :)

The other 50%? Well, all those Kim's and Lee's and Choi's be forewarned. I'm gonna getcha, getcha, getcha, getcha...

Continuing on, controversially is overated and hyperbolic. It's just a comparison but yes that Cyrus-Azria is surely controversial and makes me regurgitate for the 50% part of the collaboration... in which I wish I was in that position. It's so easy without going to the dreadfully design (killer) school, getting the degree for the standard 3-year labor pains work in the sewing room or wherever we have classes then hard to merge into the industry growing like... (mushrooms/fungus are just icky) wild flowers.

On the flip side, the 'shocked' phrase of WDF is not always negative, there's always the sunny side up instead of the overly cooked turned black right...

Good good stuff!

A catch from The Sartolialist and Anna Piagi and fashion blogger Moohoop in a comparison...

The snapshot captured by The Sartolialist immediately put one in mind of another visual image I've seen, which is Brooke Kao of moohoop. The imminent pattern from both are the polka dots; I recall Brooke has an outfit post wearing all sorts of patterns but since it's dreadully long earlier I couldn't find it and gave up after 40 posts back; the latest BW pattern dressing post however also matches. :)

It's fascinating how Anna as a lady dresses ever so stylish. Nothing beats caucasian ladies, I guess. I've never seen except for petite Japanese obaa-san's to dress up like this. One factor which is the weather would also be the one why they would have to layer up, but since she's got the genes, it's not a surprise. Comparing to the Y-Gen which surprisingly is not too different (right?) with just a zest of youthness and the bigger dare and since we're young we would not dress too elegantly (then I would just look much older. Grrr. I just don't like the numbers to add, anxiety, anxiety).

Then from the Teen Vogue Girl/Guy of the Week roll, I found this Singaporean girl named Yi Lin and clicked on her blog and found her talents and also passion in drawing, in which she posts her artworks in another blog address here entitled "Disturbing Muse" which I find it a genius, attention grabbing kind of title. Scrolling through her drawings, it reminded me of my old assignments back in Foundation where we had to draw these kinds of styles and poses were timed.

*her take on a Chanel ad, I like the signature tweed details bringing out the primary point of Chanel*

*this familiar fondy thing! drawing figues in color pencils for what, 3, 5, 10 seconds to a minute up?*

An addition to more illustrations, I again found and exclaimed at heart that there's now numerous countless other indie unknown designers out there and it's not fair - I want their versatile fingers for drawing! XD

Taken from Heidi's Illustration, here.

And ridiculously love love love this (sadly) image, if I do get it on paper then I would simply love the paper, that's the ridiculous part, from an illustrator found thru Tavi's new display picture... here for more!

OHDEARLORD blogging does take time and I still haven't done the translation for Teen Minute Magazine on Lacroix's exhibition since I'm not in the mood somehow then the so-called goal to finish a novel by my birthday or printed and it's impossibly will never happen at this date.

And that phrase comes from my high school teacher Mr. Peter Lord and we would say Oh dear lord... Not in the Roman Catholic way.

Humiliation.

Cool, cool, and so NOT cool.
Puh-leeeeeeease, can THIS get any cheesier than yellow cheese? The leaflet given inside goodie bags I've stuffed in today (more than 1000!) advertising the new cafe situated in the campus, with wannabe kind of writing, trying to 'fit in' but then, I think they failed.
We as students of an arts college, are ever so humiliated, critizing every inch of the sinless A6 paper.
As the solution to this flyer is, PLEASE DELETE THE CRAP AND GET TO THE POINT. Just typing the events in dotted format (it's still template!) then intrique us by another statement below then the name of the cafe, it'll be good enough. Not this buncha groupie wannabe with Times New Roman engulfing the paper.

HIM
IN MY DREAM.

OOOOOOHMMMYYYYPOFIASDJALKSJOPIWHFHFHFHHWDFFFFFFHHHHSSHSHHH...
10% of life mission accomplished!
Just need to getta know him in real life!

The story was, if you're interested, it was me being like a detective and with other people I think that were also other stars I think but I had a vivid memory of the sudden turn when sitting down at a long table, then he turned, and it was the ah-dorable chubby baby faced Kim Sang Beom. I acted like he was nothing but same like everybody else. Seconds later I woke up with a start and bang! It hit me like thunder and I was, again, going mad. XD
It's all thanks to the hype of BOF, after I was smitten in the movie I Like it Hot however he wasn't glittering. After BOF, now we're talking.

Fright Call and a City Hall Walkabout.

Woke up at 11AM today, officially slept at 1AM, a total of 10 hours hibernation. Gah, holidays really make me love my bed up to the notch. I had this weird dream, something like myself in a game and I have to save this dinosaur or whale or something that looks like a dinosaur but it's dying in the sea and I had to retrieve some power gem for it to be alive again (it was dying) then not far away it was the nemesis' castle but somehow after me riding the car I ended up on a boat then gave my grandma who became like the queen or even the evil person behind or hell dunno a leg massage. YES A FOOT REFLEXOLOGY THING. -,-"
weirdness...
Yesterday I had the i.drawwws... meeting, a collaboration with the SDEA to create an interactive and a drama-like situation like what we do everyday IN SINGAPORE (not at home). The theme is 'communication' and thus what we do everyday by communicating, and in Singapore, is thru the approx. 10 million colors thru this 13 inch window screen (aka the white macbook of mine) is how we communicate: seeing and typing, not seeing and talking. Facebook, MSN, YM, blogs, and a whole lot of variety of platforms where we can share our thoughts candidly and anyone can see and comment on it.

The meeting was at 1PM and I planned to go around 12+ a bit. BUT THEN MY WALLET WENT MISSING (this reminds me of Vanessa's hilarious post! heeheehee) and I frantically tried to search my shipwreck room; I do remember last night after coming back from grocery shopping I took out some cards that made my wallet too thick, then I do remember putting it above my pile when I went in and left it at the bed...
...
......
.........

GYAAAARHH WHERE IS IT! Clock was ticking after eating lunch at 12PM and I was ready to go and filled my bottle and it's gone missing! Not inside the bed, drawers, in the plastic bags, in the pile, anywhere! I don't remember putting it anywhere! OH DEAR... what if what if what if what if what if what if whatif what if what if... I checked my drawers a couple times but it's not there. Clock ticking to 1PM! Anyone who's going to the i.drawwws thing I had to call since V needed me to pass her note because she cannot come and she wanted a space - pass it on to Dahlia.

So in the end after calling Debra but then she was also not feeling well thus not going, Derrick was the only candidate who would go there. And yep, he is going and I forwarded the note.

It was close to 1.

Few minutes after,

I FOUND MY WALLET.
In the 2nd drawer I already tried looking. I think my eyes are an eyesore already how can my eyes missed the wallet just there onthe right side on top of my PSP and I just saw it after 1PM...
2(@#*%Y@#LKFH:DSJ; KJ(P*#L#P@(*Y(*P@HIOHLKJF*JFP(*@#@(P#*Y%(@#*YL

ANNOYED!

But it was 1 already. What can do. I wanted to go but it was shining hot!
So I opened my laptop instead... then called Vanessa what time we want to meet in City Hall, and she's like "Uuuuhhh, I haven't shower and today's the day where the school calls us..."
"Why school calls? ... OH!"
Today was like the D day and the school was gonna ring us if we didn't get to get our first choice in what we want to major on. I was not fretting about it and definitely not making this as a hindrance.

But alas.

A few minutes after Vanessa told me about that, an unknown home line number called me.
"Hello?"
"Hi, is this Raisa Tanawi I'm speaking to?"
"Yes this is me"
"Oh yes, this is from LASALLE"

I THINK, I WAS SHOCKED and I got HEART ATTACK.
...
....
"Oh yes, why?"
"We would like to ask you about the volunteer for the opening night, on the 25th we're going to do some goodie bag packing. Can you help us on that day?"

SO, BASICALLY, THE FRIGGIN' FREAK FRIGHT CALL was about PACKING GOODIE BAGS.
(=,=)"

O|--|_
how doomed.

THAT, was over. Then I started to get ready to go when I told Derrick I found my wallet and are you guys gonna be still there I'll arrive in half hour something.

The Arts House was close by to City Hall, exactly in Parliament Rd. It is a nice private gallery with a jazzy cafe that would let me sit for hours and hours reading to my likes. The surrounding and environment is different compared to the buzzing city life, and in this place people could just escape the hectic life and get in touch with everything artsy. :)
When I came it was in the middle of a discussion in a circle. Yikes.

This is the cafe and the outside of it. Also said that they also publish books, so anyone wants to speak out and publish their stories, essays, poetry collection... Well here's one place you literature peeps so keep an eye! Another place is booksactually's mathpaper press but I think it's so exclusive they hand bound it. I think it's too pricey by then, no one wants to get it.

Continue! The rest of the spaces have been shown before in the first meeting of this project, so I didn't have to take images, besides, it's all up on the facebook group for i.drawwws...

Personally, I would like to do something traditional. Thinking that now we communicate not by talking anymore but only by looking and typing. My mind started whirling when I watched the morning show (why suddenly I have forgotten her name? Allen right?) where Zac Efron came as a guest, and when she asked "do you have facebook or myspace or, how do you keep in touch?"
He replied "I don't have them all. I prefer to call my friends."

Yep, that got me to think. Nowadays we never call our friends but 'wall our friends' or IM them. We just stare at the cold words that has appeared, emotionless.
No dramatic voices accompanying it or gestures that we can't see through the phone but somehow I still do that like I'm talking in front of them, those hand movements that are automatic.
Yes, things have changed in our way of communication. Peeps says that without a mobile, you're a total goner. If you're lost it's going to be very hard to contact and all. It's true, but then,

what happened to the peeps a hundred years back who still used snail mail that took weeks?
I think I could have died from waiting maybe, for an important news or something.
However, looking at the competitve world with over population we need to stand out and be fast and grab it while we have the chance, that fast pass tickets that finishes like hawt cakes. If we work slow, as in sending out mails rather than e-mails which could arrive any minute later, I think 100 people would have passed us day by day while we wait in front of our red mailbox for the news.

I'm actually sick of being fast. Everything with the computer. Why not handwritten? Why not snail mail? Even these days handwritten and traditional outcomes has been stamped as antique and more worthful (derrrrr...). Writing comes from the heart and our emotions can be felt, yes felt by the pressure of the pen. If we're mad, thick embossed letters would appear. If we were to write fast, super hopefully legible cursive writing, lightly, would be the outcome. It shows through handwriting, and the snail mail uniqueness is in the postage (who likes to collect) especially getting it from overseas pen pals.

Connected to this project, snail mailing from overseas (planning to do it while my summer holiday to Africa) to my Indonesian friends and them collecting it to make a collection would be nice although it isn't art at all.
I have a typewriter at home and I really love it, I hate computers and I hate typing to it because my eyes would hurt. That could be interesting if I were to type like in the lawyer's court where one (I've forgotten the original word for this) would record the whole talking through a typewriter. Speed typing!
For the sculpture I had the idea to make all the kinds of wires we have, from long internet lines, to those spiral telephone lines, and what else? Pouring out from the window, as the plan was to be, to show that our communication is not by the mouth and eyes anymore but through these objects we speak.

I guess that is what is on my mind. Whewh. The meeting finished at about 4PM where went directly to Raffles City, and it was (thank goodness) drizzling. I didn't bring my umbrella, shockingly. My two BFF in Singapore: umbrella, sunglass.
Waiting for Vanessa to come down went to see some stores. WOW!
Has the sale started yet? Everything's on sale already!
Have seen TOPSHOP, River Island, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins... but nothing came to my likes (AKA BUDGET... :P) there's this nice printed of a lion/leopard sketch on a white tee... $29.90
A black dress for any occasion left in my size... $79.90
Some other long drapey T's but too overpriced as usual for a TOPSHOP tag. That's why besides one black holey leggings with one thick grey leggings that I probably won't use unless I go for a vacation on a winter time, I have nothing from the store compared to my first roommate in Singapore that has almost a quarter from it.

Quite bored in looking at clothes for the past few days, we met up with Putra, and it's been a while since I last saw him, way when I still had long hair. Planned to cook dinner in his place, we headed to River Valley Rd. and it's the first time I went, and the first impression of the whole apartment is nice! Secluded and looks private, small, with a very exhibited swimming pool sandwiched between an even floor numbers, maybe floor 10? Made from glass, and at night it's gonna be a pretty full view for men looking up from below, or not a pretty sight at all when a whale swims but super keliatan at night most def... XD

(SORRY SORRY PUT, pis men! (^^)V)

Went to Cold Storage beforehand and bought that semi-instant carbonara pasta 3 packs, then a big bag of Cheetos curly swirly whatevs, and water. It's on the house today! Wheeheeheeheehee

Up to his little place, a huge rice cooker that looks more like another mini AC somehow and a large LCD TV, and a superbly messy dining table that now looks like where trash will go, with all those plastic bags lying (PUT GO GREEN DONG...), however not afraid with that stolid face of yours that only *glares*.

Teehee.

The TV was clicked on and Putra tried to search a good channel to watch. After watching Eminem (who?) 'rapped' like stupid shit I wonder why he became a singer, I said "Change."
So the channel was changed to E! Channel which was better, but slightly disturbing with Pamela Anderson's so-called Girl on the Loose reality show. Stoopid chick trying to be sexy but you're not. But I do respect her that she does something good, which in the episode we three watched was when she auctioned her car for PETA (organization that protects animals and would speak up when a celebrity like the Olsen twins wearing real fur or skin). But the rest was just back to her shabby image. Blah.

Blame me for being a bit querulous today.

The cooking didn't go smooth, FYI. I knew it. Should have used that sturdy and could be depended on rice cooker rather than cooking on pot, and I knew that it would start bubbling and spilling the water cream when Putra covered the pot with the lid. A hasty move. Less than a minute the pot was covered it was spilling its guts out of the lid.

So Vanessa took over and resolved the problem by not staring at the TV but concentrate on 'stirring continuously for 7 minutes' as the package says, while Putra and I still glance to the TV. I mean we all can't help stirring right, so basically we're waiting for the food to be done. After pasta check, we were ready to eat the pot (inside it of course!) till' it was finish! (maybe, most probably).

But alas, after about 3 refills I was stuffed. It WAS, pasta. Couldn't eat anymore. I think I was half ful after eating the big bag of Cheetos. In the end at 9PM Vanessa gtg, so I followed as well. I wanted to walk, but I think after looking at the map then went down the road I couldn't find Clemenceau Ave where I had to go then turn right, straight till' I found Dhoby Ghaut. So from the bus stop I was planning to walk straight on, somehow it felt OK but I guess to accompany Vanessa. And my feeling was right! Just straight on was back to the Church-SMU-Bugis St. way. Could've just walked, I ate too much and wanted the food to come down.. But next time. Now I know the way. But I do want to know the Dhoby way. So someone next time...!

Then I'm back in my 7th heaven room typing this. *yawn*
