Yeah, so now if you've met me then you can proudly say "I saw a mermaid on land!"

It is late, but I hope you guys raked a lot of hongpaos for the ones who celebrates in the year of this Golden Rabbit!

This was a gift from my lovely aunt in Singapore, a bunny filled with jellies. It's to commemorate the rabbit year of course, and for a change, I finally returned home for the first time in 3 years spent out of the country! Chillin' at home, wearing dad's slippers... That's the relaxing life I want I wish to have with such a nice ergonomic leather incline sofa seat.

Of course, speaking of the tradition of Chinese New Year, we need to have NEW clothes, shoes, undergarments, hair, eyes (glasses if you must), everything spanking new! Not necessarily a house but maybe more fortune will do come if you did move to a new house?

Back to topic: Bottom line, so I did transform myself... say, just 35%.

             I bought myself a dress, and it's BLACK (while chanting I am not superstitious and I don't care if I wear dark colors) from MU, and shoes! The lo and behold shoes I've been waiting for since I bought it in July 2010 and I thought it looked great but when I wear it it made the shoes so ugly because of my two big feet - the Zaha Hadid x Melissa rubber wedges! It's red.

           Ah, let me tell you my plan for CNY: To ward off any bad negative energy because of my black dress, everything else I adorn should be red. My shoes, nails, accessories, glasses, bag, and well, my hair.

          So my hair. No, nothing of the bizzare which I wanted but didn't have enough time and the salon I went to do it didn't dare to (super hard technique I know and it takes like the whole 10 hours methinks), to red.

Nah, not the whole thing... Just, a frame of red.

                  My heavenly proud piece of KTZ whom Kikwang of B2ST wore in the MV Soom in which I danced his part is still brand new, so it's still considered OK to be use on CNY too. Although still, till now, it's still new. It's really too hot to be in it! Bling it on, I totally love being in it.

One last thing that gets my attention:

             Anna Piagi via Change Fashion. She's clasping the BIGGEST invitation ever seen by KRIZIA. The brand is not utterly prominent anymore but it's stocked loads in my Vintage Sale - so this brand should have been a legend to back then but with the wrong branding, guess it slumps off sadly. Quirky shoes she's got there! And the green scarf reminds me of Confessions of a Shopaholic, yes? :)
      Second one, I'm not sure who she is from Paris Fashion Week! Anyone could tell me? Her surrealistic accessories is catchy and well, the classic Birkin. The necklace's fingers is oddly familiar with that SS11 purses in my work place...

She Bangs

BANG!

In celebration of new hair, as promised, the hairstyle my parents want and the hairstyle I don't want, I took my birthday hat and matched it around with my new dress which ad stripes, and you know the rest - matching it with more stripes from my wardrobe. I bang my bangs! I do love my thick fringe.

It's been a while since I got acquainted again with dressing up - one class a day in a lazy afternoon just across my house doesn't necessarily need to be decked out however, I paired this earlier with my new Paul Direk blue striped shoulder-padded dress and it's just nice. :) Again, the hat is out again from my corner of my cabinet, second time out of my house!

Curse it, I know so sad the rad red color of my hair dyed at the back only to be designed as bottom accents in my hair isn't showing very well. How I love the color and need more color!

   Story of my life today. I realized one journalism make-up class was at 10AM, but found no one and without waiting, because it was a gloomy and pouring morning I was still at my drowsy mode, I went back home to do a bit of slumber which a while later had problems because of sudden toilet urge. That was not nice at all.
   Then I checked my mail, as I e-mailed lecturer previously on class confirmation, she actually replied me 4AM saying class is at 10AM. I looked at my screen, 11:40AM. Never mind, my tummy is not at its best, I'd stay close to the toilet for a bit.
   By 1:30PM I was already OK and went off to school for a supposedly 'surprise class' in lecture, and was frantic as the door was closed! I banged the door, and try to hear something from the inside, was their voices? But it was silent (door was sound proof too) and tried to call coupla classmate but in the end there was NO CLASS. WHAAAAT. Went back home and went to do extra fangirl mode: JongKeyTV is such an addictive channel even though I DESPITE IT.
    Photography class at 4:30 to pitch on final lookbook project and I need to have 6 instead of 3 looks. Drat the ones I borrowed from my seniors below has only like, 3-4 pieces. Oh dear.

I went off to BA's Fashion Room to fine my other lovely Indon inhabitants who I wanted to discuss about the loukbouk project but I guess itwas more of a chit chat session - I was bored since I was going to wait for Mad for Garlic dinner with Clarisse, we talk talk talk got distracted with my red hat which was passed around to many other members of the room, here, there everywhere. Pass on the hat - this surely did gain much attention, this little red boushi.

Finally, 7+PM came around to meet Clarisse - I needed a break for a fangirl session and intern dilemma. We went out for my old old belated birthday promise, bringing her to Mad for Garlic, the Korean Italian Wine Bistro franchise. Photos will be up from her soon, so meanwhile I'll leave you guys lingering for Haagen Dazs Paradise of 6 mini flavors and waffle, chocolate drizzle and bits of sweet sour fruits of our dinner.

•Had the best Monday dinner ever! Garlic snowing Pizza consists of shrimp, large garlic flakes and cheese with mayonnaise - sweet taste! Mine was the Seafood Risotto. It was grandeurly filled with much seafood cuts, and this is the best promotion ever to get a plate of great seafood bits of squid, scallops,  and slice of sour cheese and vegetables. The ending was paradise indeed•

Come to think of it, my bangs looks like le ex boyfriend's old RDD look. Minus the red. HEY! I wanted red on my bangs, man! Ah, the stylist is really... cute trained. Sigh. When my bangs grow I'll do exactly what he does. Man, this is really a love and hate relationship. I shaved my hair, he shaved it after for Lucifer, now I'm returning trackback. Don't mind the rest, it's also a friend-enemy relationship with Key-Nicole. Remember that previous fat incident.

AND STILL ON TOP OF TRENDING TWITTER, #JONGKYUNG, THE BIG HEADLINE NEWS OF THE DAY. Congrats to the seriously lovey dovey couple of 1 month where Jjong treats her more like a Queen than a princess.

 Lots are changing - firstly, not spending more time in this portal and more in my other three and a half: 1, 2, 3, 1/2. Tee hee. Then the text - I guess Times looks a bit nicer, almost like Garamond in a smaller form. So I hope reading this would be eye-friendlier now. And I'll drop by with more design whutderrfakqizvat finds, portfolio, and fashion steals and looks. To the Extreme Extent

Soooooooooooooooooooo my long hair that hasn't been treated very well has grown too long, I haven't trim it since July '08. Thus, after knowing Malcom as he was looking for a stylist for his portfolio project and I inquired him, he's also a budding hairstylist and a photographer. Then givine out free cuts for the first time I said "I NEED A HAIRCUT so do tell when are you free."

Made it after the high-tea meeting (LOL), I went straight directly to Chinese Garden where he works. Running late-----

About the haircut - I'm not sure. I wanted to try short somehow and wasn't afraid to just chop it all off (ones who know me would be appalled as I'm known for my lustrous long thick black hair since I was born. Or as it gets long).

To make my long hair story get short, I sat down and let Mal do whatever. Keywords I hinted was quirky, unique, assymetrical... so then he said my face is also suitable for short hair, then do the basic Vic Beck style then re-invent in some sides. (I wanted to avoid the name Victoria, but I guess she was the first person to keep the hair short and leave the front longer which is actually comfortable for a fast sweat-er like me but still want to retain the long hair look).
